Understand how Confess works and the rules that apply to everyone.

1. Purpose and Acceptance of Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "ToU") govern access to and use of the "Confess" website (hereinafter the "Site"). The Site allows users to publish and read confessions anonymously.

By accessing the Site and using its services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and unconditionally accepted all of these ToU. If you do not accept these ToU, you must not use the Site.

2. Service Access

Access to the Site is free and open to any user with internet access. However, certain categories of confessions or Site sections may be reserved for users who have reached the legal age of majority (18 years or older), as specified in Article 5.

All costs related to accessing the Site (computer equipment, software, internet connection, etc.) are exclusively the responsibility of the user.

3. User Responsibilities

The user is solely and entirely responsible for the content (texts, images, etc.) they publish on the Site. They commit to ensuring their confessions comply with applicable laws and regulations, third-party rights, and these ToU.

The Site editor (Nooblife) cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for content published by users. The editor reserves the right to moderate, refuse publication, or remove any content deemed illegal, inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or contrary to these ToU, without prior notice or justification.

4. Conduct Rules and Prohibited Content

By using the Site, the user commits to adopting respectful behavior and not publishing content that is:

  • Hateful, racist, xenophobic, discriminatory, or inciting violence.
  • Defamatory, insulting, obscene, or pornographic.
  • Violating the privacy or intimacy of others.
  • Undermining human dignity.
  • Promoting crimes against humanity, inciting terrorism, or encouraging criminal acts.
  • Violating intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, etc.) of others.
  • Containing personal information of third parties without their explicit consent.
  • Containing spam, unsolicited advertising, or links to malicious sites.
  • Encouraging illegal or dangerous behavior.

Any violation of these rules may result in the removal of the relevant content and, in case of repeat offenses or serious violations, suspension or termination of the user's access to the Site.

5. Content Restricted to 18+ Years

Certain sections or confessions on the Site may contain content that, by its nature (e.g., explicit sexual themes, graphic violence, etc.), is deemed appropriate only for adults.

Access to these sections is strictly reserved for persons of legal age according to the law of their country of residence. By accessing these sections, you declare and guarantee that you are 18 years of age or older. The Site editor disclaims all responsibility in case of access by minors, as age verification is the sole responsibility of the user.

6. Personal Data and Privacy Policy

The Site commits to not making any commercial use of collected personal data. The anonymity of confessions is a priority, and no data allowing direct identification of a user is voluntarily collected or stored in relation to confessions.

7. Intellectual Property

All elements constituting the Site (structure, graphic design, texts, images, logos, databases, etc.) are the exclusive property of Nooblife or his assigns, and are protected by copyright. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, or exploitation, total or partial, of these elements is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Site editor.

Regarding content published by users, they grant the Site editor a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license for the use, reproduction, modification, adaptation, publication, translation, distribution, and dissemination of content they publish on the Site, for the purposes of operating the Site. This license ends when the user deletes their content or account.

8. Modifications to Terms of Use

The Site editor reserves the right to modify these ToU at any time and without notice.

Modifications will take effect upon their publication on the Site. It is the user's responsibility to regularly consult the most recent version of the ToU. Your continued use of the Site after publication of modifications constitutes your acceptance of these modifications.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These ToU are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after the failure of any attempt at amicable resolution, the competent courts of Nanterre (France) shall have sole jurisdiction.
